Can We End Bullying?!

True story. The kid that was abused got suspended from school. Is this the world we want to live in?! I don't think we do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For many years, our world has been affected by the social problem of bullying. Bullying is a way of abusing others constantly, mostly conducted by peer pressure. The "bully" tries to harm another person because he or she is weaker, or because they think they are weaker; that they can't defend themselves. Sometimes, the kids that are being abused think that they do not belong in the world, and even think about suicide. The bullies try to make them feel awful in every way, mentally or physically. This meaning that bullies will find a way to torture another person, by making them feel bad about themselves and excluding them from the social circle.

This is a vast problem that is conducing children and teenagers to avoid school and throw away their education. Is there even a way to stop this abuse? Most people believe that this has been going on for so long that it is not going to stop. But there are others who believe that human beings, by nature, can change. A person is born virtuous, and throughout life, society will build most of that individual's personality, which will make the person stay virtuous, or become evil. But it is up to the person to choose how he/she wants to be. (virtuous and evil idea taken from "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley, 1818) Bullies need to learn the good things about life, and how they can change to improve their personalities that have been affected by society. It is not impossible to end bullying, but it could be really hard. If we work together by helping this people, the 'bulllies' and the one's being bullied, we can make the world a better place. Spread the word to end bullying, people will follow you and will appreciate what you are doing. Be a leader!

Hope for Japan

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you may know Japan is going through a harsh time right now. Due to an 8.9 earthquake that brought an approx. 30ft. tsunami, many homes were destroyed and millions of people have been found dead. The rest are trying to survive by eating rice and noodles while mourning for their dead families.

Even though there is an economic crisis around the world, there are other ways in which we can contribute by helping this people. If you want to help but find it hard by donating money or supplies of any kind, you can spread the word to people that can, or you can make a group of friends that are willing to help you obtain money by selling personal materials, etc. There is always a way to help others. You might think, "why am I going to waste my time spreading the word to other people, if they don't listen to me?" Well, what if they do listen to you? you never know how people are going to react to certain things, and even if they don't listen to you, at least you tried, right? You'll feel good by knowing that you did something!

Friends, let's help this people in Japan, because they need it now, but we might need it tomorrow.
